On This Date August 13th

We have certainly come a long way since Aug. 13th 1960.
That is the date of the first two-way telephone conversation via satellite.
And these days it happens all the time and we don't even know it.

Romney picks Eddie Munster as VP

Well it looks like that if the TeaParty (there is no republican party anymore) wins in November, I'll not be able to retire as soon as I had hoped.
The Eddie Munster budget plan will turn medicare into a coupon/voucher system and  Social Security will be gutted and there will be less and less help for the poor.
Why should I care about the poor you ask.
Well if the TeaParty gets elected I will very rapidly become one of the poor.
Eddie is a supply sideer. Meaning more of the failed RayGunOmics that caused this whole mess in the first place.

More here later today.
