The newly Obama appointed US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta told the troops in Baghdad:

"The reason you guys are here is because of 9/11. The US got attacked and 3,000 human beings got killed because of Al-Qaeda,"

There is no connection, there never was a connection, regardless of what the republicans say, there was no 9/11, Al-Qaeda connection.
It was all a republican lie.
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of the cabal should be in the Hague awaiting trial on crimes against humanity.

INDIANOLA, Iowa (Reuters) - Republican presidential contender Newt Gingrich on Saturday said the adoption of same-sex marriage in New York showed the nation is "drifting toward a terrible muddle."

Saying he thinks marriage is between a man and a woman, he told reporters that he "would like to find ways to defend that view as legitimately and effectively as possible."

He said he thinks the nation should be defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage ass being between a man and a woman.

So tell us Newt, Which of your 3 marriages needed defending?
